Tonight I write
entirely for you my bird
Tonight I'm
writing solely for you
When I sat idly
in the meadow
Your feathers
poked him slowly
Your eyes
prompted to discern
And you sang
melodies for him
Suddenly it
took him into a shack
There I saw
the portrait of that lady
Whom I have
seen somewhere
At the
meadows with him
We
recollected memories, narrated
Our eyes spoke
about the future
She was bold
enough like a crystalline
Her tears
gifted existence
Her presence
granted a soul for his loneliness
Her smile
could make him see
Limitless
dreams till his demise
Things happened
twice as he
Loved nature
and now an angel
But he left
for the time to decide
If this girl
was one who touched his nightmares
And wanted to
take away the portrait of that lady
From the shack with him till the road ends
And wished to
convey his last words of love for you
That his love
for you were unconditional…
Your poem titled "A Letter to His Soul" is a poem of poignant emotional vibes and incredible immaculate love intermingled with sum and substance.The stream of emotion comes out of the mind of the lover thick and fast.The world is obviously an embodiment of that love of everlasting pedigree.The concept of love slowly gets activated in the interiors of the mind and then it takes hold of the self in an overwhelming manner to inundate it from all sides.The poem does have a throwback to the theme of that famous poem titled "My Last Duchess",but here the act of reminiscence takes control of the self regarding that ennobling encounter of regenerative and revitalising nature.This bewitching beauty in question in the poem does have that power of persuasion and seduction to evoke emotions of the refined and constructive nature within the soul of the lover.In fact,she is the manifestation of true love in every step of the way.Her internal and external beauties can never ever be extinguished.She is the one who stands by the side of the lover in all difficult situations and circumstances.The love that is nestled in that imaginative plain adduced with artistic embellishment becomes the touchstone of real love in the field of art.Kudos to you for composing such a poem of marvellous nature.
